Gym to Smart Grid: Energy recycled

While sculpting at the gym today, I had a very exciting revelation I would like to share. I’ve been working out for over three years now, doing weight training and cardiovascular exercises. And many of us expend a colossal amount of calories on the elliptical, spin bike and workout machines simply to get the much-desired torso and the perfect physique. Using an infrastructure, If that energy from gyms all over the world was electronically harnessed, captured, and injected into the Smart Grid system, couldn’t it provide that remaining megawatts of electricity to rural areas in Africa and Asia? Just like that of waste, it would be recycling of energy.

Moreover, this would be a motivation for health insurance companies to reduce insurance premiums and for governments to provide subsidies to a health-conscious society!
